La presa Cauto del Paso, considerada la mayor infraestructura hidráulica de Granma, ha reducido notablemente el volumen de agua que libera, según el último parte técnico de este domingo, que refiere que el caudal actual se sitúa en 1 200 metros cúbicos por segundo, muy por debajo del máximo registrado de casi 4 000 durante el momento más crítico.
